  • This is a must have book!! There is no other book like it. All the ingredients in the recipes are truly healthy, guilt-free, and the recipes are very easy to make. The book is structured well and is a very easy read. Highly recommended.

  •  I met Liana in the beginning of 2018 and kept in contact since then. It was just a few months after my last chemo treatment. I had stage 4 cancer cervical to ovaries. 2017 I had a hysterectomy and had a port put in. I had the chemotherapy teacher before getting treatment. The nurse talks about the chemo drugs they will use and what each one will do. She talks about the food to eat and not eat during treatments. I wish I had met Liana sooner to get the daily foods to repair from the inside out before during and after chemo. Since doing the Superfood shakes with the nutritious goodness in each one to eat healthy and help reduce my tumor. Since I started using her book from the earth diet and getting into the gym. I saw changes right away. Feeling better with sleep, my body more happy, more energy. I lost the weight I gained before and during my chemo treatment. Some lose weight. I was healthy and eating well the chemotherapy really takes a toll on your everyday life. I had PT rehab after treatment to help me learn to do things again and take my time getting out of bed, walking, prepare food, normal everyday care. I took breaks in between normal activities. I learned after my treatment I had a higher thyroid number so I had to take a pill 1 time a day to help it get back to normal. Today I have lost weight in a healthy way with foods. I gained energy and health with my gym classes and machines that were easy on my body. I have reduced my thyroid and tumor to normal results. I got my CT scan results back today. My organs are healthy and no sign of cancer spread. The notes said unremarkable. Well that's awesome to hear. I have done everything I can to recover and bring my health up and I have great numbers. It takes work and a lifestyle change for the best. I have been waiting patiently for this book to come together and I shared the knowledge I had from my journey to share with Liana. Putting A book together is a lot of working parts. I was excited to finally see the end product. As you can see I made note and tagged important pages to information and recipes I am excited to put together. Having the other books and this new one "Cancer Free with Food" I can put together all of information in one. Since having Cancer I wanted to know what new studies they had on other foods I haven't tried and what they can do for me. I see there is 15 foods that you use that is good to have in your grocery list and put in your meals, desserts, spices. I do love the section for food swaps. I have people asking me what can I use other than white sugar or flour, cheese, tacos, burgers. I wanted to eat my same favorite foods but more healthier. I wrote a list of what foods I like the most and looked them up in the book so can find the food swap. I really like sweets and desserts so I needed a solution for them. Cancer loves sugar and red meat and other bad processed foods and more. Remember find a way to get your fitness even if it is as small as 10 minutes at a time. After getting my foods from vitacost and fresh produce stands I can figure out my budget for fresh to table. Your spices and plant based flour, sugar, organic maple syrup and more. Flaxmeal, tumeric, ginger, garlic, cilantro, coconut, oh fresh cacao powder, tigernut powder, organic unsweetened almond or cashew milk, my powder just a dash with kale, blueberries and other good fruit and vegetables that is in your list towards your health need in my Superfood shakes. Change the foods so it stays fresh and not boring. You can always do ice with your fruit and make quick iced drinks. Pick a day that you have a hour or more to prepare shakes I use 32oz water bottles with wide mouths to pour the portions in. Then I freeze them. If you freeze it and go it's 1 and done. You can let it melt and pour in a glass for about 4-6oz each day. Put back in fridge so you can continue to drink a glass each day. I can make 6- 10 bottles. I got a spot freed up in the freezer. 1 daily Super food drink is 1 good thing your body can have every day. Then work out the meals from there. Your time is freed up for the week and plan your time for work play, gym and sleep. I feel good each week with a little planning and cut your budget in half. Your life is important grab it and make it great for better good. The great thing is this book has other health help with depression, diabetic, Leukemia, Cancer, disease and so much more to help you from inside out. It's awesome! I have all 3 books now. The first 2 book got me through difficult times. I feel blessed that I met her and at a good time. She is sweet down to earth, wants to help people. I love how she is here for us and wants to share everything she knows and give us the facts up to date and foods that can help. It can cost a lot going to the Dr and appointments and treatment and care and missing work. This can help your health and on your budget and see results! It worked for me I would love to see it work for others too.

  • This book is a must-have for anyone navigating cancer or trying to prevent it (which is everyone in the Western world these days!). Liana Werner-Gray has written yet another best-seller that is easy to understand and implement into your everyday life. She has been there herself and knows the struggles patients go through. She also has incredible recipes that will keep you eating healing foods for a lifetime. This is both a handbook full of necessary tips for healing and a recipe book. Just get it! We all need this!!!
  • I had the chance to meet Liana after her book signing event and let me tell you, this woman practices what she preaches. You can't help but be captivated by her passion to help people lead healthier, and happier lives.
    Only a few minutes in to our conversation it was glaringly obvious, this is not a part time interest of Liana's. Healthy food is clearly her world, and if you want to dive deeper into the subject, I don't know who could be a better guide. Her positive energy radiates through this books pages and her knowledge is presented in a manner which is easily digestible (yes, pun intended).

    Once I am finished reading (almost there), I am going to pass this along to a couple of my friends that I know could benefit from its content.

I have tried a few of the recipes in it, and they are delicious! It's an easy and fun read, as is Lianna's approach to living a healthy lifestyle. You won't feel like it's a restrictive plan at all, as she knows exactly how to make nutritious food that is also decadent so you won't feel like you're missing out. Also, there are so many helpful nutrition facts in the book which can help anyone and everyone improve their diets. She does a great job at also including studies to back it all up with the most current research. Even as a health coach, I found myself learning from it. Don't miss out on this book!
